About the Michigan Kenya Partnership;

  • We are a nonprofit working to improve health, economy and quality of life in Kenya
  • We work in the Kithoka region, near Meru, Kenya



Who Who we work with;

    • MichiKen Kenya Chapter 
      • an advisory board of local leaders and entrepreneurs  
    • Bishop Lawi Imathiu Secondary School 
      • a day school for high school students
    • Thiiri Centre 
      • a nonprofit/NGO conference, lodging and community  center 
    • International Peace Initiatives 
      • a nonprofit/NGO with several projects designed to improve the Kithoka and Meru area 
    • The Amani Home for Children
      • serves orphans, and includes a guest house for visitors
    • Kenya Methodist University and Meru University College of Science and Technology
