Building a Kitchen!

The kitchen was made of four old posts and a tin roof. The fire was a pit between three large stones, the pots for cooking just rested atop the burnt stones. It's hard to cook three meals for over 50 people daily this way. The wood is expensive and fires like this waste too much. When it rains, its hard to do work out there. And the structure is on it's last leg, waiting for a good storm to come and knock it over.

So, we're changing that....

With a lot of help from the Amani Crew of builders and workers!
